If Huffer was red instead of orange and Pipes was green instead of blue, they'd look like Mario an Luigi transformers, look at their picture and think about it

Give it a few days, Mario and Luigi digibashes will be popping up everywhere.

Sky Garry, Great toy with the most bizarre name in TF history! Gosh, I hope he makes it into the background of TFA S3!

Grandus is the other way around. Cool name, bizarre toy, easily one of the ugliest bot modes ever made! I'm not sure you made him obese enough DW! He's one of the few Japan exclusive Autobots that we resisted the temptation to pay WAY too much for. Well, up to now! Thanks DW, now I've got to start hunting for one of these... hm, wonder how many hundreds is this going ot set us back???

My guesses?
Botanica and the cassette bots? I doubt it!
Huffer, Pipes, purple shockwave? I sincerely hope so!

Grandus is definitely real.

Rodimus Prime (Hot Rod) Looks awesome. I agree with mightwork, Huffer and Pipes do resemble Mario and Luigi. The red decepticon bot looks like he could be Bulkhead's older, meaner brother. Can't wait to see which of these makes it into season 3.

Let's see here...

Rodimus' altmode is definately chanelling the spirit of G1. Never expected Sky Garry. I guess we're getting Zone and Battlestars. Grandus is interesting. Reminds me of Bulkhead, so he's probably not real. Vangelus is a great reviewer of toys yet to come, so it would be nice to see him get a cameo at least. Huffer and Pipes are definately channeling the Mario Bros. Probably the Autobot's version of the Constructicons. Botanica looks an awfull lot like her BM self, so she's probably out too. I couldn't see Tap-Out in anything more than a cameo. Zaur, Sundor and Flipsides are probably just Wyatt being a tease, but Sundor may be used for Laserbeak or Buzzsaw. I could see Slapper as a repaint of Spittor, but not in the show. And, lastly, Shockwave's true colors are much better. I hope it gets used.

So...I guess that's what I've gotta say. Very interesting, Wyatt.

Purple =Shockwave's redeco after he "kills" Ultra Magnus and takes over Cybertron.
One of those guys is a repaint of Spittor with a "Bulkhead+ pointy teeth" jaw Sky Garry seems like something they'd do for fun, building on the silliness with Superion Maximus' name in Energon. Grandus looks like he could be real, probably Bulkhead's unlce or elder relative from the Energon Farm. I doubt the tapes will show up. The green bumblebee guy seems likely as a cameo. I don't know about the rest.

Dude, somebody get in touch with Nintendo and suggest some Mario Transformers. Heck, they did a Mickey Mouse.

Hey, we're in the SECOND QUARTER of 2009. Where's the 2009 section already?
hot rod said,  - 2009-04-01 19:50:13
whats the name of the green bumblebee?
Autobutt said,  - 2009-04-01 20:10:08
i was kind of thinking as Slapper as that ahem long necked dinosaur-looking bot.
Sabrblade said,  - 2009-04-01 20:23:27
@Hot Rod:
Tap-Out. He's really a redeco of Cliffjumper, as his toy was.

@pretender117 and Scimmy:
It's still too early to know all that's going to be available in the year. What with Hasbro keeping a tight lip on the rest of the Animated line and most of the ROTF toyline, how can there be a 2009 page if there's not enough known toys to fill it up with?

I'd absolutely LOVE it if the purple Shocker' makes it into S3, I kind of see how they could explain it too. Nice to see the RID reference thrown in there. I vote for the mario bros. transformers to appear......PLEASE?

Regarding all the commentary about the 2009 section...

It has just been a question of priorities. Don't worry it's raising on my list of highest priorities. But all the work that went into making Accessory Set #6 has been my highest priority. Now that's off the 'to do' list.

It used to be my goal to finish all of the character pages of the 1988 TF section before the end of 2008. Then it became my goal to "finish it off quickly," early in 2009, and finish off that before working on the 2009 section. Accessory Set 6 took time away from that goal. Now, these are the next two items on my list...

I cannot commit to exactly when, but I will say that I will have a fully functional 2009 section before the end of April. Sorry for the delay. Thanks for your patience.

Huffer and Pipes look like they should be new Constructicons. Sky Garry and Grandus are in the show because in "Five Servos Of Doom" it showed a holographical image of them. Don't know about the others.
Sabrblade said,  - 2009-04-02 18:15:12
Why would Huffer and Pipes be Constructicons when they're Autobots?
ilovetransformers said,  - 2009-04-05 06:06:51
Sorry Sabrblade, i ment Autobot versions of Constructicons. They might work together in a future episode. Hmm.......
