I know, I know. Guess what, here's the good news. There are only 6 (North America release) 1988 Transformers remaining that do not have character pages. Once I've completed these, I will be promptly moving on to more modern topics.

Lightfoot, Ranger, and Road King! These guys were AWESOME! And this time, Getaway and Slapdash were unaltered when used as Lightfoot and Road King; while Joyride was slightly redecoed as Ranger.

Also, like the 1988 Small Headmasters pages, these have some error too: none of Getaway's toy pics will show, and Joyride & Slapdash have the same comic gallery at the bottom.

Also, it might be cool to mention on Getaway's page that the 2008 movie figure Breakaway (redeco of Cybertron Hot Shot) was a homage to Getaway.

Yeah, I've been waiting for a 2009 page since the beginning of the year. The main reason I enjoy coming to unicron.com is because you guys show the toys in their packaging so its easier to see what toys have been released during a year and what size class they are at a glance than just reading a list of names like on other similar sites like tfu.info, seibertron and tfw2005.

So, the Autobot Powermasters then. I love these guys. I remember as a kid thinking how awesome they were just looking at pictures of them in a catalogue (other than actually going to a store to see whats on the shelves, store catalogues and in-package leaflets were the only way I could see new toys). I used to horde every catalogue I got and spent ages looking at new toys. Yeah, the Powermasters were one of those that particularly stood out from the rest. Heh. Even now I'm having warm fuzzy memories of twenty years ago.

i can't wait until the 2009 page is up.

well on all the transformers sites they should just use a hyper drive to make the new 2009 page but there can be a lot of instaling to if that happened im not lieing this owner of the 2009 page let me see the new 2009 page there almost done whith the new page theres going to be 100 more new transformers oh and on may the page will open.
