We must admit, we had not heard of him before either, but consider Mr. Shogo Hasui to be among many contributors to the franchise who makes Transformers as awesome as they are.  TFW2005 has posted a fantastic interview with one of Takara-Tomy's Transformers designers, also known as "Mr. Starscream."  Check it out, it's worth the read!
