The War for Cybertron game/storyline just got a lot cooler! TFW2005 has posted an image they identify as deluxe class vehicle mode for WFC Optimus Prime!

When Aaron Archer emphasized, "We're making Transformers cannon, here" in our interview with him last month, I thought, hm not sure how universally accepted it can/will be with a somewhat limited audience of video gamers. But with a complimentary toy line? ... hmmmm. Wonder what else they have up their sleeves? G1, pre-Earth! Whatdya think?

looks pretty nice, but i'll need to see a robot mode before I make any decisions about getting it when it comes out. all in all, it looks good but needs a bit more color, but seeing it's a prototype, thats no problem. Now, lets see more Megatron!

Looks different from the prototype. In fact, the prototype looks closer to the game model shape-wise than this figure does.

And with this, that makes three new toylines in 2010: WFC, Japanese Animated (images posted here yesterday), and the next version of Classics/Universe style figures (toyline name unknown).

Looks pretty good to me. I believe this will be an excellent toyline for me to collect, as I hate animated and only get a few of the classics line. It's too bad we'll only be seeing a few more movie toys,as I really like those.

Its not, JOSE. Thats just our name for it until we know better. Universe was never officially known as Classics 2.0 either yet the name stuck among the fans.

I hope there's a WFC toyline. The designs seem very Animated-inspired without the only thing I didn't like about the Animated designs.
