TakaraTomy is being very generous to TF fans this year, what with their 2010 Transformers campaign as well as their other Transformers merchandise (both exclusive and non-exclusive releases).

First, in their announcement of their involvement with this year's International Tokyo Toy Show, they've included images of their two exclusives to this event: Animated Prowl Elite Guard Version and Movie Dreadwing & Smokescreen. Also pictured is the next wave of the Japanese Animated figures: Ultra Magnus Light & Sound, Autobot Sentinel, Autobot Jazz, Autobot Blurr, and Elite Guard Bumblebee. As well as EZ Collection Vol. 4.

Second, the lineup page for their 2010 campaign has been updated to reveal the free gift available when redeeming "points" associated with each 2010 figure. It is a redeco of the Matrix stand that was inclued with the Hasbro rerelease of the Masterpiece Convoy figure (as the Classics version of 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime). The details regarding any other changes aside from color are curently unknown, but it is likely that this version of the stand is to be compatible with the rumored Masterpiece Rodimus figure.

Third, images from the International Tokyo Toy Show (mentioned above) have appeared on the Japanese blog of Amiblo. In these images, we are shown a beautiful display of Japanese Animated figures, the Animated arcade games, a display of the Japanese 2010/Movie figures (notice a few new faces in this image), Masterpiece Movie Starscream, and finally G1 Predaking! Yes, TakaraTomy is rereleasing G1 Predaking as another part of their 2010 campaign!

Fourth, the blog of Snakas has close up images of several of these products. Particularly, Jetpack Bumblebee (Japan release of the unreleased Hydrodrive Bumblebee), MP Movie Starscream (another image), G1 Predaking (another image), catalog images of old and new TFA releases (page 2) and 2010/Movie releases, and new EZ/Legends figures.

Last, Amazon Japan has new images of MP Movie Starscream, plus the comic that comes with it, featuring the words "Unite for the Universe" written English as its title. These new images give a close examination of the headsculpt's color scheme and magnificent detail.

BTW, the pink ROTF Arcee redeco is named Elita-1, so while our Elita-1 is a purple redeco of Chromia, theirs is a pink redeco of Arcee. Neither of which is accurate to the movie.

And Animated Ironhide is being renamed Armorhide (due to their renaming of Bulkhead as Ironhide).

I agree with Amy, I have been hunting for Preds for a long time. BBTS.com has it for preorder.

Wow Takara actually decided to give a movie figure the MP treatment! That's awesome. The Predaking box makes it look like an E-hobby exclusive (The new boxart reminds me of how GADEP had new boxart). Totally want both of those
OH!Look at the bottom of the card next to Predaking (the one with the new 2010 figures) and notice that theres a Unicron and a Primus. Now THAT looks very promising. Might even give Unicron.com something to add to the Who Is Unicron section eh?
