TFCC Side Burn images revealed!

We heard about him before, and now we get to actually see what he looks like. The Transformers Collectors' Club has uploaded full pictures of their upcoming free membership incentive figure for 2011! Give it up for Side Burn: a redeco of the Classics Rodimus figure painted to resemble the 2001 Side Burn character of the Robots in Disguise series.

The color scheme of this figure is fairly faithful to that of the RiD Side Burn figure, given the limitations of the Classics Rodimus mold. For thos of you who don't know of RiD Side Burn, he was the "kid-appeal" young Autobot character whose role is better known these days to belong to a Bumblebee or a Hot Shot charatcer.

i actually think he looks quite nice. i liked the original better ofcourse but at least the mold choice isn't totally randum.
its a reason to sign up for membership i guess ... if i can find a way of joining from england. still havent found a way as of yet.

am i rite in thinking he is from wings of honnor continuity?

I'd say so, as pretty much all of these have been recently.

what do you think of the head in relation to the name? i personally am not sure what i think about it suting him. ... but then again, he is meant to reprisent another g1 caricter sharing the name so i guess its excusable lol

even though he looks grate, i still see this mold as rodimus. i'm sure i will change my mind once i get the protecter armour and sidearm addons in december or when ever bbts ships them out

Yeah, the head doesn't really fit the Side Burn design. I get that half-yellow/half-blue head crest is meant to evoke RiD Side Burn's half-visor look, but it just doesn't cut it for me. It does help that this is a new guy from a new world, but it would have been nice if there had been either a new head or at least a head swap with an existing mold (though, the original RiD Side Burn head is too big for the Classics Rodimus figure, so it wouldn't work).

ttrue. i don't think i could think of a head that would fit that exists exept for sideburns original but thats not aplicable hear like you say.

That does look pretty awsome, and I agree about the head. Personaly I think they should have used cybertron Crosswiswe for this guy

But Crosswise looks even less like Side Burn than Rodimus does. At least the Rodimus mold has an engine sticking through his hood, which also winds up on his robot mode torso, just like Side Burn.
