G1 Voice Actor Aron Kincaid passes away

Sad news. According to the LA Times, another voice actor of the Generation 1 cartoon has passed on. Aron Kincaid had been the voice behind the original Sky-Lynx character, known for his vanity and his space shuttle/bird/lynx/not-robot configuration. He had also starred in other roles in several 1960's "beach" movies, the voice of Killer Croc on Batman: The Animated Series, and also featured in guest starring roles in Get Smart, The Beverly Hillbillies, The Smurfs, Johnny Quest, and DuckTales, among others.

I'll admit that I wasn't the biggest fan of G1 Sky-Lynx, though I can't deny that his most selfless moments were those he featured in "The Return of Optimus Prime, Parts 1-2"

i wasn't the biggest fan ither but its always sad when a caricter we know so well is thaut of and the guy behind it is actually dead.

To have a any character stand out on a show with such a huge cast is a feat, especially if that character is rarely featured. Sky-Lynx was incredibly full of himself and that attitude helped him stand out from the rest more so than his unique robot modes. Mr. Kincaid brought one of the most unique supporting charcters ever written to life in a brilliant way and he will be sorely missed.
