Like I said, sorry for the short notice, but the voting has been counted and is done.  (Of course to me, it's not really a fair vote, if you don't even have the Unicron/Megatron dialog/reformatting scene...!)  We received this follow-up press release with the results.  No kidding, think about this, TFTM released in theatres exactly 20 years ago TODAY!... Wow, who knew so much could happen in 20 short years!

IT WAS 20 YEARS AGO TODAY……
SONY BMG MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT CELEBRATES THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE BY REVEALING TRANSFORMERS FAN VOTING RESULTS
TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE 20TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL EDITION DVD To Be Released November 7th

Over the last seven days, fans logged on to www.TRANSFORMERSthemovieDVD.com and voted for their favorite clip from TRANSFORMERS: The Movie.  Thousands of votes were cast among eight memorable scenes from the film.  With over 50% of the votes, the winning scene featuring the fight between Galvatron and Hot Rod inside Unicron will be posted today on www.TRANSFORMERSthemovieDVD.com  -- exactly 20 years to the day of the original theatrical release of TRANSFORMERS: The Movie.

The August 8th anniversary date marks the first in a series of “TRANSFORMERS Tuesdays” where, every Tuesday, new information regarding the 20th Anniversary Special Edition DVD will be posted on www.TRANSFORMERSthemovieDVD.com.  Fans will be able to keep tabs on all of the happenings with this special DVD, including details about the exclusive footage and interviews and other spectacular materials that will be included on this title.

For the 20th anniversary edition, Sony BMG Home Entertainment completely re-mastered and color-corrected the film and will present Optimus Prime, Megatron and the rest of the star-studded Autobots and Decepticons in true splendor through three distinct versions: 16x9 Widescreen presentation, the Autobot Matrix of Knowledge presentation featuring trivia and fun facts about the movie itself; and a full-screen edition.

So whatdya think of the results? Personally, I think that not even close to my favorite scene...

That was one of the most lame fight scenes in the movie. The opening scene where we first see Unicron destory a planet was much better. Or for that matter Hot Rod and Kup racing to get inside Autobot City.

If we're gonna see a fight scene...let's have Prime's. One shall stand...one shall fall.

My fav scene, at least of that list, was transforming autobot city.
