Time to chat

I'd like to clarify right away that this is not news.  Periodicly I'm going to try doing discussion topics.  I'll try to do one every 2-3 weeks.  I'll do them more often if they seem popular.  And I'll try to always use the "Time to chat" headline.  If you have any "Time to chat" ideas feel free to email me at seanlorensen@hotmail.com.

My 4 yr old daughter was just watching TF the Movie.  I unfortunatly had to do dishes, so I wasn't able to watch with her.  It reached the end where Hot Rod become Rodimus Prime as he gains possion of the Matrix.  I  then hear her little vioce say with great glee, "Go Rodimus!  You can do it!"  Followed imeaditly by a rather joyful,"It's the Touch.  You have that on cd in your car dad."  And then it happened,"You've got the touch.  You've got the power.  Yeah!"  If you've never heard a 4 yr old sing TF songs, you should.  It's remarkablly cute.  It even puts a smile on my wife's face and she isn't much of a tf fan.

So what are some of your most memorible tf related moments?

My 7 year old daughter has been a Beast Wars fan for three years, especially Blackarachnia. She only wants to watch season one, disks 2,3, and 4. When I put Beast Machines on, she started to cry. That's a true fan right there.

Yeah, I wasn't too big of a fan of Beast Machines back in the day either, but I enjoy it more now that I'm older. It had too many aspects that young kids just couldn't get at the time; I know I didn't.

I guess mine just happened. My 11 year old cousin is just getting to an age where he really appericiates his things. My family picked him up two TF comics for Chirstmas and he was tickled pink because they were in those slip cases to protect them. He then proceded to show me the Star Wars TFs because I don't follow the line. It's good to see the younger generation caring about the series.

I agree once again with TPR Beaste Machine sucked the most of any/all TransFormers line.

Your daughter should sing "The Touch" and every other song from the movie on "American Idol".

Just a few days ago I purchased Cybertron Mudflap on sale. When I opened the package my daughter who is 19 months runs up seemingly interested in daddy's new toy... I handed it to her and she "drove" Mudflap across the whole house! I had to wait for my turn to try out the cyberkey features!
