Animated Optimus and Megatron, Writer's Strike Done!

TFW2005 has posted images from the upcoming ToyFare magazine. Included are the first pictures we've seen of the self transforming Leader Class Optimus Prime and Earth mode Megatron! Wow!

Good news for everyone looking forward to Transformers 2 and its hopeful release in the summer of 2009. CNN is reporting the Writer's Guild of America strike is now over. With luck Alex Kurtzman and Robert Orci have been hard at work anyway, they can hand over their scripts and we can all hope that filming can and will take place as planned.

Wow, That's the best Megatron I've ever seen! Very cool sword. I hope He's a leader class. I hope Prime's alt mode is going to be a semi this time and not a fire truck. I know Megs has had different modes over the years and that's acceptable, but Prime needs to be a semi, not a monkey, not a firetruck.

The toys are much better than I expected, I love Earth Megatron. The strike is over so now they can whrite a story.

Megs looks stupid... I mean stupendous! Amazing-looking figure. Now all those people that hate the TF:A toys may have found something they like.

That Prime, however, looks... idk, just not right. I'll wait to see the final product.
