Ratchet a girl?!! O_O HOW is THAT even possible?

The character that is now ratchet was originally cast to be a female Autobot named Red Alert! Even as much as I like Ratchet I like female TF characters and am a bit bummed they didn't stick to this. Oh well, here's hoping for more Arcee appearances.

And yeah, I love M.I. and what he's doing with this series, but I don't care what he says! I think this series has been set up brilliantly to fit in with existing continuity! :) But hey, that's just me. Everyone else can think whatever they like!

Ratchet a girl that is too Creepy. I like Ratchet and Bumblebee better as names.

dudes, why is this so confusing? There would never have been a female ratchet character. The character/slot that is now occupied by Ratchet, was originally going to be a female character named Red Alert. ?Comprendes?

Perceptor, it's not that we're confused about it, we're surprised by it. It's just something we never would've thought of before.

wow! just saw pics of that animated megatron fig and I am astounded!!!!!!!!!! that figure looks amazing! will he and prime be the first automatic figure to hit stores? MY GOD!!!!! this has got almost as excited as the day I found out that there would be an MP-05 as MEGATRON! my waiting however didn't pay off in ranges of possability. not to mention sturdyness. but he granted me acess to the most dificult transformers figure to transform EVER! now, if someone could, make an upgrade kit for MP-05 megs ( leg attachements to make his legs thicker, some g1 decals, some armor to support his arms, a "crotch" filler, and a hollow barrel attachment. its A LOT to ask for I know but we need these attachements to restore justice to the decepticon leader. anyone for ideas? just send me your comments to my email adress at Lordmegatrong1@yahoo.com about any peices I could use to make this set. I just don't want to block this comment section thats all.

oh, and I also heard, (note: its just a rumor), that transformers 2 will introduce an "aircraft carrier" transformer. any guesses who this big guy could be, hint, hint, wink, wink? cough, cough(tidalwave!),cough, cough.
Sabrblade said,  - 2008-02-14 20:38:31
Lord Megs, the aircraft carrier tf was one of Bay's early ideas for a character for the first film.

But, who knows? Bay could add one for the sequel.

And who says it has to be a Tidal Wave reference? It could very well be a reference to Broadside or (but this is EXTREMELY unlikely) Majin Zarak.
lord megatron said,  - 2008-02-15 22:13:39
yeah but highly doubt it, tidal wave is one of the fear icons of armada.

Red alert as a girl...

That right there gives you a pretty clear idea of the approach they took with Animated.
