Animated Hot Rod/Rodimus? - Not an April Fools Joke, a Rumor

Some of you may have seen this, but Bumblezzz of the Seibertron.com forums has found an image (*cough*last February*cough*) of what appeares to be a TF: Animated version of Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime. What could this mean? Could Rod be showing up in the series, or is this a fan's piece of art?

As of now, we cannot confirm whether or not it is fanart, but take a look at this image. Legit or not, it looks awesome!

It's fan art. It was in a guy's sig over at TFW2005 long before bumblezzz posted it.

I think when Magnus and Sentinel show up to belittle Optimus, Rodimus will put them in their place. I think this one will have the same personality or transformality as Energon Rodimus. Energon Rodimus was one of my favorite characters. I hope that picture isn't a hoax. Isn't April Fools day over anyway.

It's me! Anyway, it looks like either G1 Hot Rod/imus Prime, but I think he'll defeat Unicron at the end of pt. 2 of Cybertron on the Menu. Hopefully w/ Matrix.

i think there might be a slight chance that hot rod/rodimus could be in animated (could be in season 2 or season 3 ya never know)

Um, Someone, that third season episode guide was an April Fools hoax. Cybertron on the Menu Part 2 (and all the other episodes) is not real.
