"About Us" Revamp

Can you guess which Unicron.com site contributor:

* Had a job for 6 years as Bugs Bunny at a major theme park chain?
* Who repaired helicpoters in the National Guard?
* Who had serious medical difficulties through his childhood and says Transformers are among only a few things he can remember from "when he was a kid."
* Who was at one time employed as a 3D animater for Mainframe?
* Who is an avid inline-skating, computer-nerd turned seminary student who admits to being able to sing like Kermit the Frog?
* Who went to his first Botcon while his then fiancee(/now-wife) had her bachelorette party and supposedly told her, "eh, don't worry, I probably won't go again."
* Who admits to having been beaten up for defending the good name of transformers!
* Whose favorite drink is "the ultimate drink" with all the calories and nutrients of a 3 course meal!
* Who has no sense of smell and lists Classics Legends, "Leo Prime" as one of his top 5 favorite TF toys of all time?

Learn the answer to these questions and other surprising, formerly unknown facts in the newly revamped, ABOUT US page.  This much needed page face-lift now includes info on Lukis Bros. and other site Administrators, the Friends of Unicron(.com).

You can also listen to our interview on BBC World Radio (in case you were terribly sad to have missed it!  :)  It's in Spanish, yeah!!) and the article from Toy Collector Magazine, which featured portions of the collection...  Enjoy.

Mmm-hmm. Very nice, guys. Very nice indeed, yeeessss...

I wish that display at the bottom was mine, though I probably have as much as two of those cabinets in BW, BM, RiD, A/E/C, and Movie figures. The only G1's I have are an original Pretender Longtooth with no shell or any accessories, TRU Ultra Magnus reissue, and KOs of Defensor and Devastator

Nuce, I only have 150 Transformers.

Don't feel bad Luketroop. I only have about 350. The Bro's collection dwarfs mine too. But, it really isn't about having the most TFs, it's about having the TFs you want. I'm pretty close with my collection right now. There's only about 30 figures I want anymore. Most of them are g1 cassettes, and a couple I don't know if I'll ever actually buy i.e. Fort Max/G1 Scorponok. I'm sure I could come up with the money for them. I just don't know that I could bring myself to drop $1,000 on one TF.

you know what i found the most interesting about all this? the fact that only 1 former made it to the number one of 2 members of the site.
TriPredRavage said,  - 2007-12-24 22:38:54
Well Movie OP was #2 on two people's and Armada Unicron was also #2 on two people's. Also, two of us claim BWII Lio Convoy as our most rare collectables! Who knew the FOUs had such similar tastes?
Knightwing said,  - 2007-12-25 09:42:49
We all knew it some where in the bak of our minds TPR. I belive all of the FOUs have fairly large collections. By default there's only going to be so much vairiation. :)
