Speaking of new episodes: With the upcoming demise of Kids WB! at the end of this year, Cybertron will be moving back to Cartoon Network.

Hasbro really seems to love New Zealand. First they got the first wave of Cybertron toys before anyone else, and now they're the first ones to see the new episodes of the Cybertron cartoon that haven't even aired in the US so far.

Alternators "Autobot" Skids is coming to the US shortly (in fact, the Hasbro toy is already out in Hong Kong and Singapore). Meanwhile, the Japanese version, Binaltech Skids (with diecast metal parts and a noticeably different deco than the Hasbro version), has already been released in Japan a few weeks ago.

It appears that TF: Cybertron will air for the last time in its regular "Toonami" time slot. "Race" is set to air tonight at 5:30 central. The good news is, Cybertron will begin airing on KidsWB network starting this Monday the 19th, beginning with episode 1 which never did air on CN! Wa-ho! So Hasbro picked a company for the comic license who specializes in TV and movie adaptations. With the movie next year, that could be very smart indeed. It really was a dark day when Generation 2 issue 12 was released as the final tale of a dying toyline. Final Battle Optimus Prime is considered pretty darn cool by many fans not just because he rocked in that finale episode fight scene of the cartoon series. 2005.com is reporting that Hasbro cancelled the license with Dreamwave, which would explain why they are ceasing operations. Supposedly, Transformers comics will "be back soon". What does this mean? Well, it seems unlikely that we'll see the end of TF:Energon that I personally had been greatly anticipating. Very unfortunate... We'll keep you ...  (0 comments)

Wow. It appears to be a very sad day indeed for fans of the Transformers. Many sites, including bwtf, transfandom, allspark, tfw2005 ... have full copies of a press release from Dreamwave which states that they will be "ceasing operations". Including 1 posting for Terradive in our own sightings section, several other sites (allspark, transfandom and tfw2005) are reporting that the remaining 'limbs' for Energon combiners are being spotted.
